I'm super excited to have been chosen to be part of the Curated Makers month long pop-up shop in the iconic John Lewis & Partners store in the Trafford Centre!

This is an unbelievable opportunity to sell a range of my hand painted jewellery and nature inspired greetings cards to a much wider audience and in such a prestigious shop. I'm over the moon to be involved in this collaboration :)

You can find my wares and those of 45 other Northern Makers there until 22nd March so there's plenty of time to get down and snap up an original gift made locally.

Follow me @dotcottoncrafts and Curated Makers (@curatedmakers) on instagram to see who else is involved, their lovely products and exclusive offers.

Etsy Made Local
Digital Media Centre, Barnsley

I'm delighted to announce I will be exhibiting my lasercut jewellery, original cards and festive decorations for the second year running at Etsy Made Local in Barnsley. The event was one of my favourite fairs to date so I can't wait for this one! Expect beautifully crafted and unique gifts, delicious food and a jolly atmoshphere and live performances to get you in the festive spirit.

Year 2 children at St Catherine's Primary School have been studying Andy Warhol's Happy Butterflies. I went along to show them how to make their very own butterfly stamps, so that they can fill their corridor with hand printed wall art. It was an absolute delight working one-to-one with the these young artists, helping them hone their scissor skills (it's not easy to cut sticky craft foam with chunky scissors!) and convert their drawings into beautiful stamps. It was lovely seeing the children so absorbed in the activity; you could honestly hear a pin drop they were concentrating so hard! As you can see, the stamps they made were FANTASTIC! I can't wait to see what the finished piece looks like and hope the kids enjoyed themselves as much as I did!
